White Block Restoration
  • Scope: Replacement of louvre blades and complete painting of walls and ceilings.

  • Highlights: Corridor and classroom ceiling painting completed to enhance the learning environment.

Scope: Extensive refurbishment including re-roofing and painting.

Technical Detail: Replaced dilapidated facial boards and re-aligned water spill-off channels to protect the structure from rain damage.

  • Scope: Full restoration of dilapidated classrooms.

  • Upgrades: Installation of new electrical systems, door and window frames, and interior painting.

Scope: Comprehensive re-roofing project completed in 2006

Sick Bay Refurbishment

Upgrades: Tiling of the nurses’ area and outer floors.

Fixtures: Installation of new storage cabinets and doors to improve facility organization.

Scope: Rehabilitation of the entire block with new bathroom showers, WC outlets, and wall/floor tiling.

Infrastructure: Excavation and construction of a new septic tank system, including underground water extraction and pumping.

Donations: Provision of two hospital examination beds and essential medical supplies.

Computer Lab Expansion

Scope: Remodeling and completion of Computer Labs 1, 2, and 3.

Infrastructure: Installation of network hubs, printers, and scanners across the labs.

Impact: Direct delivery of computers, printers, and scanners to enhance the school’s digital capabilities.

Tutoring Program Support

Impact: A $5,600 donation to support the Mawuli School Tutoring Program.

Notable Award: The Solace Lotsu Prize in Biology.

Recognition: Annual OMSU-NA Merit Awards for the best all-round teachers and top-performing students.

Workshops: Sponsored Teaching Excellence Workshops for faculty in 2006 and 2007

Book Donation Program: Recurring donations of textbooks and library resources to improve literacy and study materials
